There will be no Kincardine Community Singers Christmas concert this year.

Director Patt Lowry made the announcement last week and thanked the choir members for their support during her time away, for personal reasons.

The Community Singers have a busy season planned, she said, including carolling and participating in other community events. For more information, check the website at www.amoagh.com , click on KCS down the left-hand side.

The choir will be performing again in the spring, said Lowry. There will be an early registration in January, followed by start-up in February.

As always, new members are welcome, and the dates for next year's events will be available in the near future, both on the choir's website and in the local media.
