Lucknow boil-water notice lifted

A precautionary boil-water notice for parts of Lucknow, has been lifted. The notice was issued Monday, Oct. 18, for residences and businesses affected by the Havelock Street reconstruction. It was lifted Thursday, Oct. 21. The affected areas were along Havelock Street, Wheeler Street, Hamilton Street and Campbell Street. The notice was not the result of bacteria in the water but only as a precautionary measure while work was being completed on the new watermain.
