Once again, the Tiverton Fair was very successful. The bonus was good weather.  

A huge thank you goes out to all the volunteers and sponsors who make this event possible. The prize money is currently being mailed and delivered.  

The recipient of the "Award of Appreciation" is Mary Jean Large who has devoted so much time and energy to the fair for many, many years. Thanks, Mary Jean.

We are in the process of organizing our 150th fair to be held the first weekend in October, 2011. Before we can finalize some of the planned attractions and events, we realize we will need extra volunteers. Mark this on your calendar if you can help in any way. 

The Jamboree we hosted in Underwood on Oct. 24 was well-attended and folks have been raving about the roast beef dinner. 

The next regular meeting of the Tiverton Agricultural Society is on Nov. 16, Whitney Crawford Community Centre, 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
