Don't forget to book your student clean-up team. Kincardine Township-Tiverton Public School will be conducting a fund-raiser for the Grade 8 class trip. Students will be performing yard clean-up/odd jobs on Saturday, Oct. 30. To book a student clean-up team, call the number below with a description of the work and location. Teams will be accompanied by an adult. Fees will be due upon completion of the work period. Call 519-368-8458 after 4:30 p.m. and ask for David or Nick.

Happy Birthday to a wonderful mom and grandma, a.k.a. Jacalene Wiggins Manto, as she celebrates her very special day.

Julia Convay celebrated her 13th birthday with a few friends: Olivia Convay, Delaney Evans, Eartha Phorson, Taylor Hasson and Kerri Rice. The girls travelled to Owen Sound for dinner and a movie.

Debbie Simmons celebrated her birthday this week, and Norm Lachance of Port Elgin celebrated a birthday this past Sunday.

The churches of Tiverton, along with the Tiverton and District Ratepayers' Association, will be holding a Tiverton Community Remembrance Day Service at 10:45 a.m. at the Tiverton Cenotaph on Nov. 11. If the weather is inclement, the service will be held at the Tiverton Baptist Church.

 

The Tiverton and District Lions Club will host its annual Christmas Tea and Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 13, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre. Admission is free, lunch will be available, and Santa will visits from 10-11 a.m.

Knox Presbyterian Church, Tiverton, will hold a fall supper on Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre. The menu will be scalloped potatoes, ham, baked beans, turnip and homemade pies.
