Township-Tiverton Public School will be conducting a fund-raiser for
the Grade 8 Class Trip. Students will be performing yard clean-up and
odd jobs on Saturday, Oct. 30. To book a student clean-up team, call
the number below with a description of the work and
location. Teams will be accompanied by an adult. Fees will be due
upon completion of the work period. Call 519-368-8458 after 4:30
p.m. and ask for David or Nick. Congratulations to Donna Hendry, my much, much older friend, who celebrated her 50th birthday on Saturday. Also celebrating in the village was Dave Beamish who turned 50 too. The churches of Tiverton and the Tiverton and District Ratepayers Association will be holding a “Tiverton Community Remembrance Day Service” at 10:45 a.m. at the Tiverton Cenotaph on Nov. 11. If the weather is inclement, the service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church. The Tiverton and District Lions Club is holding its annual Christmas Tea and Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 13, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre. Admission is free, lunch will be available and Santa will visit from 10-11 a.m.

A Flu Shot Clinic will be held on Monday, Oct. 25 from 3-6 p.m. at the
Tiverton Lions Hall. Please wear short sleeves and remember to bring
your health card.
The Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church will be holding a Fall Supper on Tuesday, Nov. 2 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre.
