Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Bill Murdoch has done his part for recycling. The maverick MPP collected 300 phone books from residents in his riding, and dropped them off at the Owen Sound waste transfer station, to show Yellow Pages and Bell their disappointment with the new phone book. Murdoch says the new books ticked a lot of people off because now residential listings are all lumped together, instead of under separate communities.

When representatives at Bell and Yellow Pages were questioned about the books, Murdoch was told it was the result of a survey of what people wanted. He says, obviously, no one in Grey-Bruce was polled. Scrolling stops when you move your mouse inside the scroll area. You can click on the ads for more
