"Christmas in Kincardine (Where All of the Snow is Blown!)" is the name of the Christmas show, to be performed by Broach'dd, at the newly-renovated Bean's Bistro (formerly Books and Beans) in downtown Kincardine.

This is a light-hearted, sometimes quirky, musical tribute to the holiday season.

Featuring the ever-changing talents of Broach'dd and a talented collection of guest stars, the show is a fund-raiser for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Kincardine and District.

Broach'dd has been performing, in various forms, for almost four years. The group has performed at Tramonto, the Best Western Governor's Inn, the Royal Canadian Legion, Gilley's Feed Lot, the Walker House, and its venue of choice: Bean's Bistro.

Every series of shows is different, thematically, with new songs and often new singers and musicians. Original Broach'dd members Bryan MacDonald, Rob Millar, Cheryl MacDonald and Liz Coats will be performing, along with new members Ron Boucher, Esther Marshall and John Binnendyke.

Stacey Millar and Slayde Millar will be doing their usual guest spots, and original Broach'dd members Alanna Boucher and Hilary Holmes will also make an appearance.

Local celebrity Elaine Van Rooyen will be co-MC'ing with Bean's Bistro's new manager, Saoirse Cameron, and there are sure to be a few surprises!

Because Christmas is such a busy time of year, Broach'dd is doing six shows: Thursday, Dec. 9; Friday, Dec. 10; Saturday, Dec. 11; Thursday, Dec. 16; Friday, Dec. 17; and Saturday, Dec. 18.

All performances are at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance, available at Bean's Bistro, 728 Queen St., or by calling 519-396-4777.

Seating is limited. Ticket price includes the show and a festive light lunch at intermission. There will be a cash bar with beer and wine.
