Greeting and Nababoozhoo my friends and relatives

WOW!!!!!!! This is awesome.  I am one of the Frontrunners Niigaanibotawaad. With support and cheers from us - Laura is worthy of this recognition. A big smile for her husband John who is also very helpful to their bicycle and cross-country ski program at Cape Croker.

Laura helped us - principally Pat Bruyere, Victor Harper and myself - to travel with the frontrunners play and later the movie to as many as 20 shows in communities across Canada and half a dozen places in Scandinavia. She was able find resources for us to travel, for the play and the movie. She helped us to be a friend to many people and put a face and a voice as to who we are as Anishinabe.

For someone who has shown commitment in the past and now, she will achieve a better quality of life for many of our children. Send prayers for you and John for a good long life.

My wife Violet Caibaiosai of Sogamok and I also met up with Laura as she was doing her work reporting on the news for us and her audience of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver BC.

On another note Deputy Premier Eric Robinson of Manitoba announced that on behalf of the Government of Manitoba that he is pledging several million dollars of support of the WIN (World Indigenous nation Games) to be held in Winnipeg in 2012. Truth and Reconciliation Commissioner Wilton Lillttechild who is a member of the WIN board was in the audience to hear Eric's announcement.
