Surrender By Shoshana Jarvis A loud Bang wakes me from my sleep, I jolt up in bed, scared to leave my bed Panic sets in, I fear for my life, and The lives of my family, my mother, father And sisters, where are they? Are they dead? What about my school? My friends? My home, my city, all destroyed in seconds, why? All the screams chill me to the core, Tears sting my cheek as they roll down My face, I'm too scared to move. Why? Why me? Why my home, my country? My people? Why? I'll never understand war. I just want the pain to stop ... But I'll never surrender, never. I'll fight for myself, it's all I Can do ... And it's all I will Do. Scrolling stops when you move your mouse inside the scroll area.
