Saugeen Shores Town Council held its last official meeting Monday night (Nov. 22) before the new council moves in.
(L) Victoria Serda, Mayor Mike Smith and Dug Freiburger The two members leaving Council are Victoria Serda, who represented Port Elgin, and Deputy Mayor, Doug Freiburger, who has been on Council for some 13 years. Serda will be replaced by newcomer Marcel Legault and Freiburger by Councilor Luke Charbonneau, whose council chair will now be occupied by Gary Brown.
