What a fabulous crowd that gathered to celebrate Christmas in the Village on Friday. The carollers from
the Baptist and Presbyterian Churches carried the tune while the crowd joined in and Santa, himself, came to light the tree. The firefighters were there to offer hot chocolate and tours of the rescue truck. Topping off the night was the horse ride through the village. Please enjoy the splendour of the park; the lights will be up until the New Year.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Gwen Pollock who passed away last week. She certainly will be missed.

Get well wishes go out to Cathy Gateman who is recovering from knee surgery.

Spotted this past week was Mrs. Stone out with her dog. Mrs. Stone is recovering as well from surgery and assures me it won’t be long until she is out walking the streets again with Benji.

The Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church will be holding a Cookie Walk on Dec. 4, from 10 a.m. Until noon. Save your time by purchasing homemade Christmas baking this year. For more information, call 519-368-7347.
