The weather Sunday night was far from frightful, if a bit nippy, but it was perfect for a visit from Santa Claus.

And Ripley was ready to greet the Jolly Old Elf at the Christmas in the Park event.

About a dozen floats covered in sparkling and twinkling lights paraded their way from Park Street to Lewis Park where people enjoyed hot food and beverages and children were able to visit with Santa.
