It was a lively Christmas concert put on by the Celebration Singers at Trillium Court Monday afternoon (Nov. 29).

Besides the beautiful Christmas music, the event featured some superb silliness which put everyone in the Christmas spirit.

About 80 residents and guests enjoyed the singing of the 41-member choir, a solo by Doug Stewart on guitar, and a duet by James and Priya Hardman, as well as wonderful instrumental music by Ross Sturdy, Allister McKay and Sam Wyatt.

But the highlight was the unique performance by the Hawaiian dancers, including Dorothy Rackley, Heather Jolley, Dotty and Gregg McClelland, Wayne and Janet Palmateer and Ross Sturdy.

And if that wasn't hilarious enough, Sam Wyatt surprised director Willa Schoffer by sporting antlers and a blinking red nose for the singing of "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer."
