Leading off the show is the title song, "It's Christmas in Kincardine - Where All of the Snow Has Blown." Sung to the tune of "It's Christmas in Killarney," the song is a wonderful take on the "beautiful" wintry weather in Bruce County and the excitement of trying to travel in it. Other highlights are the spoof of "So Complicated" with the ever-eloquent, "Why Did You Have To Go and Buy All These Decorations?" sung by Coates, "The Greatest Gift" sung by Binnendyk, and "Joy to the World" on kazoos. Special guests for the evening are Slayde Millar who does a marvelous rendition of "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas," Stacey Millar on keyboard, and Rob Millar joining Cheryl MacDonald in singing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." Proceeds from the show go toward Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Kincardine and District. On hand opening night was Brenda Jones of the agency, who thanked Broach'dd for the marvellous performance and for donating the proceeds to Big Brothers and Big Sisters. The show continues Dec. 16-18 at Bean's Bistro, at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 each in advance, available at Bean's Bistro or by calling 519-396-4777. There are complimentary snacks and a cash bar. Broach'dd has done several shows over the past few years. The name stems from the original group which included Brian MacDonald, Rob Millar, Olivia Nussey, Alanna Boucher, Cheryl MacDonald, Hilary Holmes Dan McGibney and David Coates - the apostrophe represents Slayde Millar, Rob and Stacey's daughter, who has been a guest performer for six years. ![]() Rob Millar (L) and Cheryl MacDonald sing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" Scrolling stops when you move your mouse inside the scroll area.
