Oh so tidy cable ties

One of the things that bugs all of us is the clutter of cables on and under our desk.  We have a viper's den of them.  Yes, we know all the classic solutions like the one shown above.  Looks very tidy, doesn't it?  It's not so easy.  We are usually dealing with a lot worse than the mess shown below

There are a lot of solutions that you can get online or at your friendly computer or office supply store.  At the hardware you can get plastic tie-ties like those shown below.

Coloured tie-ties

Some of these are good, but for example, the tie-ties have to be cut to redo and the 'Oh so tidy' clips are not so easy to obtain and they are not flexible, so changing the arrangement is hard.

Women's Spring Loaded Hair Clip

Shown above is a solution suggested by a recent TV show as seen by the Editor of the Saugeen Times.  What is it?  It's a simple women's hair clip that you can buy by the bag at the drug store.  It's advantages are:

• Inexpensive

• Lots of sources

• Buy by the bag

• Easy to reconfigure

• Fashionable (oh well, that's a stretch)
