New products abound and interconnectivity and mobility are at the heart of many of them. One interesting new product allows you to tune into your home TV while on the road. It features an on-screen remote, so you can feel right at home, complete with your oh so familiar buttons. So why would anybody want to do that? Suppose you are out and about or on the road and your favourite show or event is on TV and not available where you are. That would be great, if you could tune in and watch. We talked to a person who travels a great deal and he misses seeing his local TV provider's coverage of sporting events. He now has the ability to get right inside his home, turn his TV on and select the channel to watch from anywhere in the world where high speed internet is available.
