Do you know someone who deserves an award for going beyond the call of duty as a volunteer? The Municipality of Kincardine is urging people to send in nominations for three different awards, sponsored by the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration. The first is the Ontario Medal for Young Volunteers - the deadline for nominations is Jan. 31, 2011. The second award is for Volunteer Service - the deadline is Jan. 25, 2011. And the third is the Paul Yuzyk Award for Multiculturalism - deadline is March 1, 2011. Nomination forms and additional information are available on-line at www.ontario.ca/honoursandawards
