smallHe's refused to comment on whether he would serve a full third term in office if the Liberals are re-elected on Oct 6, 2011.

Government insiders say that people shouldn't read too much into Ontario premier Dalton McGuinty's refusal.

Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Carol Mitchell says there have been rumours of McGuinty not running but she believes he will.

“I have been saying all along Premier McGuinty is running in 2011,” she says. “We are developing a platform that we will be running on in 2011. The premier has committed to implementation of that platform. So, we go from there.”
