Glen Miller of Ripley, formerly of Newfoundland, didn't let a bit of snowfall bother him as he was ice fishing at the Kincardine Harbour Saturday afternoon. He had already caught one rainbow trout and was waiting for more fish to bite

Heavy snowfall was the order of the day in the Kincardine area Saturday, with close to 45 centimetres expected by the end of the weekend.

However, snowy and cold was no big deal after blowing and drifting snow had closed the roads around Kincardine for most of the day on Friday.

Most people just took it in stride and either stayed at home or drove slowly and carefully to their destinations. Others went ice fishing at the Kincardine Harbour or went snowmobiling or skiing.
