Southampton Pet Hospital, like many veterinaries, helps many animals find loving homes.  Some are strays, others have been surrendered by their owners, usually due to unforeseen circumstances.

Currently, the facility has some unusual 'boarders' with somewhat unusual needs.

Sam the Siamese

Sam is one of those 'special needs' pets.  His owners had to surrender him due to very unforeseen circumstances and he is desperate to lavish his affection on a new owner.  Sam has a medical condition, diabetes, and part of the insulin treatment will be included in the adoption fee.  At 15, Sam wants to end out his life being loved and cared for and exchange he will give loyalty and affection.

Tina the Golden Retriever

Tina, the five-year-old golden retriever, is another of those 'special' pets.  She also had to be surrendered by her owner and is now looking for a good family home.  She would make an ideal companion and loves to be out of doors.

The sign says it all

Southampton Pet Hospital recognizes that Bruce County winters can be demanding not only on pets but also their owners.  To help those who may be unable to get out to get their pets' food or medication, they have initiated the new Pet Club for home deliveries.  Contact them now at 519-797-2960 to learn how you can become a member.
