Rotarians invite one and all to get involved in Winterama this year!  It’s a chance to raise some funds for youth programs in Bruce and Grey counties and also have some indoor / outdoor winter exercise. 

Winterama includes Ice Skating, Cross Country Skiing, Snowshoeing, and Snowmobiling – your choice!  As in past years, there are two locations for the event-- the Plex here in Saugeen Shores and Shallow Lake Community Centre.  

Participants meet at 10:00 AM for registration at the Plex, then participate in their chosen activity and finally meet back together at 12 PM for a free pizza lunch and a brief celebration.  The funds are split among the 6 participating local Rotary Clubs and the United Way, with the moneys being allocated to various programs and activities for the youth of Bruce and Grey.  It is a unique fundraiser in that ALL OF THE FUNDS BENEFIT OUR LOCAL YOUTH.

Some of the Winterhawks Hockey Team and Crabby Joe will be joining in the Skating Fun at the Plex in Port Elgin.   No matter which activity you choose, it’s a super day for the whole family.
