The Ripley Agricultural Society annual meeting was held Jan. 24 in Ripley. The installation of officers was held - Paul Murray is the president for the next two years. Marilyn Reid will be president of the Homecraft Division for the next two years. The Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies convention will be held in Toronto Feb. 17, 18 and 19, 2011.
 
Fran and Jim Farrell visited recently with Reine Arnold and Ron de Gras, Sherry and Doug Howatt of Belgrave, and Joyce and John Farrell of Wingham. Fran and Jim attended the Organic Growers Conference in Guelph last weekend.
 
Marilyn and Don Reid recently visited with Agnes and Bill Former of Chepstow. Marilyn and Don also met Don's sister, Wilda, and her husband, Bob Parker of Dorchester, in Goderich for dinner last Sunday after attending grandson Tanner's hockey game in Goderich. Tanner is playing with the Huron Perth AAA.
 
Our thoughts and prayers continue for the folks not experiencing good health at this time.
