Saugeen Shores Job Fair opens doors for potential employees |

Approximately a dozen employers attended the annual Saugeen Shores Job Fair at the Plex in Port Elgin on Saturday, February 18th. The Fair was designed as a 'one-stop' employment opportunity for all ages. It gives potential employees the chance to drop of their resumes at more than one business at a time and talk to owners and/or their human resources.
Chris Wilson (L) talks to two young hopefuls For those who have limited transportation, it enables them to make contact with potential employers in one location. For employers, it provides the best opportunity to acquire resumes over a relatively short period of time from a wide variety of potential employees.

Among the employers was Legault's Independent Grocers. "We are often asked if we are an equal opportunity employer," said Erin Fenton, "and of course we are. We have had all ages and abilities apply today."
