Despite various groundhog predictions of an early spring, winter seems well entrenched.

Frigid temperatures and blowing snow have been the norm over the past week in Bruce County and there seems to be little evidence of any reprieve for the rest of the week.

Roads continue to be trecherous with white-out conditions

Throughout southwest Ontario, there is the eighth cold-weather warning of the winter - one more than last year.  Bruce County remains under a snow squall warning with squalls expected across Lake Huron over the next few days.
