ABC Gathering director presents sponsor board from event |

Scott Evans, director of the 2009 Kincardine ABC (Aeros, Bikes and Cars) Gathering, has presented an autographed sponsor board back to the sponsor of the Supermarine Spitfire. Rick Goodman, president of Strategic Infusions, based in the top floor of the Kincardine municipal administration centre, was on hand Wednesday afternoon to receive the board. Several of the boards were displayed, along with the corresponding aircraft, at the 2009 event held at the Kincardine Municipal Airport. This particular board was signed by Reid Hutchinson and Major General Richard Rohmer who flew the aircraft in combat during the Second World War. The board was also signed by the current owner of the aircraft, Ed Russell, and its current pilot, Rick Volker. "This is our way of saying thanks to our ABC sponsors and provide them with something to frame and hang on their office wall," said Evans.
