Elgin Market Public School was awash with doctors, builders, hockey players, dirt bikers, dancers, computer scientists, photographers, teachers and even a couple of paleontologists. It was all part of Friday's dress-up day, "What I Want to be When I Grow Up." Conor Greenwood dressed up as his favourite teacher, Mlle Mary Senese. As an added bonus, while studying careers in Senese's Grades 1 and 2 French Immersion class, each student has the opportunity to be the teacher for a day and Senese must do that child's work for the day.
