G.C. Huston Public School in Southampton hosted its first Family Fun BINGO on Saturday, March 12th and it was a huge success.

Many members of the community in Saugeen Shores came to the Town Hall and participated. There were lots of winners of the fabulous prizes that were donated by many local businesses.  Aspen Chapman (a grade 6 student) won the grand prize of a Nintendo WII.

The event raised over $800.00 that will be used for the Grade 8 trip to Niagara Falls. The students would like to thank the Optismist Club for lending their BINGO expertise and equipment and a very special thank you to the many businesses that helped make it a successful event.

Dan Russell,

Principal
