The afternoon show was for their fellow students, while the main event was Tuesday night for families, friends and the public.

Twenty-two young ladies modelled the fashions, provided by Nancy Lee of the Cranberry Mews Mall in Collingwood, while 18 young men escorted them on the "catwalk."

The first-time event was organized by teachers Katelyn Jackson and Mary Jane Hewitt who also helped with hair and make-up, with the assistance of local hairstylist Samantha Lane.

The goal was to raise $1,200 toward the intermediate class excursion to Quebec City for four days, leaving May 24. The trip includes all Grades 7 and 8 students, and will be held every other year.
