While travelling on Highway #4 through Huron County, several trees were seen  to be marked and signed with "Save this Tree".

At first thought to be maples, given that there are no leaves at this time of year (March), it has been learned that they are actually Elm trees and there are many residents who are concerned at the government's decision to eradicate them simply for "road improvements".  More information will be coming.
