On Tuesday three more quakes rocked Japan near Honshu.  According to sources they all reached 6.0.

Motorists needing fuel have to wait up to 8 hours in long lines and food and water supplies are running short.

More non-Japanese nationals are evacuating because of the shortages.   According to news sources, the Japanese people are taking the hardships stoically.  Manufacturing and fishing have all but shut down in the north.

The death toll continues to rise and estimates of those missing are quickly turning to almost certain deaths for most.

The damaged nuclear reactors at Fukushima continue to cause concern.  Radioactive waste has been detected in a wider radius.  Stronger smoke plumes from reactors 2 and 3 are continuing to puzzle the experts.

The Food and Drug Administration in the United States has banned any import of products from northern Japan.
