Isn't it great to have the robins, killdeer and other birds back and to enjoy the snowdrops that are blooming in spite of the snow!

Sympathy to the families of Eileen MacDonald of Ripley and Mary MacFarlane formerly of Kinlough. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
 
Visiting with Jim and Fran Farrell over March Break were Melissa Burmaster and children - Daniel, Kyla and Sam of Cambridge, and Chris, Monty and Tyson VandeSype of Guelph on the weekend. 
 
Congratulations to Troy Middelkamp and Angie Ritchie who were married on Saturday. Their reception was at the Lucknow Community Centre.
 
The VON Exercise program has started weekly sessions again for the spring. It is a great way to become more healthy and limber.

 

The Ripley and District  Horticultural Society gathered last Wednesday. Everyone enjoyed having the school children there and decorating the flower pots to take  home.
 
It was good to get out to the Kinloss Community Centre and enjoy the great meal. Always fun to meet up with folks we haven't seen all winter.
