Municipal remuneration was
just over $300,000 last year

Kincardine's total remuneration for 2010 was $303,405.77, down from 2009 when the total was $315,000.

Treasurer Brenda French included her report in the council agenda package last night (March 16) and there was no discussion on it.

Mayor Larry Kraemer received a total of $35,719.05, including salary of $28,822.75, per diem of $1,940, expenses of $3,016.30; plus per diem of $1,940 for serving on the Bruce Telecom board.

Deputy mayor Laura Haight received a total of $23,034.32, including salary of $19,117.23, per diem of $1,320, and expenses of $2,597.09.

Deputy mayor Anne Eadie received $2,399.02, including salary of $1,772.68, per diem of $160, and expenses of $466.34.

Councillor Guy Anderson received a total of $23,164.96, including salary of $15,487.34, per diem of $1,470, and expenses of $6,207.62.

Councillor Gordon Campbell was paid a total of $17,675.85, including salary of $15,487.34, per diem of $320, and expenses of $612.06; plus $1,256.45 ($860 in per diem and $396.45 for expenses) for serving on the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority (SVCA).

Councillor Ron Coristine received a total of $1,942.25, including $1,436.09 in salary, $150 in per diem, and $356.16 in expenses.

Councillor Maureen Couture received a total of $1,541.53, including salary of $1,436.09, per diem of $80, and expenses of $25.44.

Councillor Kenneth Craig was paid a total of $20,557.65, including salary of $16,923.43, per diem of $850, and expenses of $2,784.22.

Councillor Jacqueline Faubert received $1,436.09 in salary.

Councillor Candy Hewitt received a total of $2,313.15, including $1,436.09 in salary, $80 in per diem, and $797.06 in expenses.

Councillor Ron Hewitt was paid a total of $22,652.59, including salary of $15,487.34, per diem of $1,390, and expenses of $2,719.69; plus $3,055.56 ($1,590 in per diem and $1,465.56 in expenses) for serving on the SVCA.

Councillor Marsha Leggett was paid a total of $26,838.99, including salary of $15,487.34, per diem of $1,930, and expenses of $7,659.59; plus $1,762.06 ($1,660.10 in salary, $80 in per diem, $21.96 in expenses) for serving on the police services board.

Councillor Mike Leggett received a total of $26,700.85, including salary of $16,923.43, and expenses of $5,497.80; plus $4,279.62 ($3,811.62 salary and $468 in per diem) for serving as a Kincardine firefighter.

 

Councillor Randy Roppel was paid a total of $18,701.86, including salary of $16,923.43, per diem of $600, and expenses of $1,178.43; he receives no remuneration for serving on the Bruce Area Solid Waste Recycling board.

The following received remuneration for serving on the police services board:

  • Robert Hiscox, total of $1,682.06, including salary of $1,660.10 and expenses of $21.96.
  • Bob Wilson, total of $3,105.46, including $1,660.10 in salary and $1,445.36 in expenses.

The following were paid for serving on the Bruce Telecom Service Board:

  • Richard Martin, $17,034.95, including $11,709.19 in salary, $1,593.58 in per diem, and $3,732.18 in expenses.
  • Doug Hunter, $10,049.76, including $9,757.78 in salary and $291.98 in expenses.
  • Holly Robinson-Colley, $10,049.76, including $9,757.78 in salary and $291.98 in expenses.
  • Barry Schmidt, $10,742.92, including $9,757.78 in salary, $485 in per diem and $485.71 in expenses; plus $14.43 in expenses for Municipality for Bruce Telecom.
  • Tom Scott, $10,049.76, including $9,757.78 in salary and $291.98 in expenses.

Bob Jameson received a total of $13,631.46, including $6,115.19 in salary, $3,600 in per diem, and $3,916.27 in expenses, for serving on the Westario Power Inc. board.

Bev Bryant received $1,868.77 in expenses for serving on the public works committee.

Jim Prenger received $48.27 in expenses for serving on the economic development committee.

Jane Rigby received $464.44 in expenses for serving on the Heritage Kincardine committee.
