Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Kincardine and District was proud to present team trophies to groups and organizations that met the challenge and helped raise funds at the Bowl for Kids' Sake, held March 5-6.


Kincardine Township-Tiverton Public School won the Youth Group Challenge, raising $563.

TD-Canada Trust won for Financial Institutes, raising $300.

Ernie Parent was the top individual fund-raiser, with $2,721.

The Kincardine Cubs/Cubettes baseball team was the top sports team, with $2,860.

Bruce Telecom won for Big Business, with $1,442

Miller Insurance won for Small Business, with $1,735

Cindy's Friends won the trophy for Friends of Big Brothers and Big Sisters, with $2,458.

The "Unbowlievables" from the Kincardine Clerk's Department won for Municipal Group, raising $1,149.

The Point Clark Kinsmen was named top Service Group, donating $1,000.

The Kincardine Toy Library won for Organized Recreational, raising $392.

And the Kincardine Community Medical Clinic "Chicks" were the Most Uniquely-Dressed team.
