Time Travel Interrupted to play at Victoria Jubilee Hall
Heather Kueneman is back - this time with her sequel play Time Travel Interrupted, which runs from April 13th – April 16th, with the gala on the 16th being sold out already. The play’s prequel, Valleytown Tales, played last year as a “walking play” says Kueneman, Writer and Director for both plays. Along with Co director Janice Swanton, the two ladies were pleased with the audience that followed the actors and actresses from different historical sites throughout town, beginning on the banks of the Saugeen River Trail and ending at Town Hall. “It was an interesting concept,” says Kueneman. "The “walking play” followed Agnus McBride (portrayed as the President and Leader of the Walkerton Historical Society) through out town and even stopped at the Walkerton jail for a “hanging”. 'Time Travel Interrupted', playing at the Victoria Jubilee Hall will be of a different concept from Valleytown Tales. The haunting tale involves Agnus McBride again but this time she’s being visited by ghosts of people needing her help, includin Elvis! “With a cast of 15, there will be some young new actors which I’m really happy about,” says Kueneman, “and you don’t have to see the first one[play] to understand this one”. Proceeds from 'Time Travel Interrupted' will be partially donated to the Brocton Medical Clinic. Paul Kueneman, President of the Rotary Club in Walkerton and their members have already raised $50,000 toward their $100,000 goal. There are many local sponsors for 'Time Travel Interrupted', includng: the Investors Group, Bogdon & Gross Furniture, DAC Produce Ltd., Germania Mutual Insurance, Trillium Insurance, CMR Insurance, Larson and Shaw, Wilfred Mc Intee & Company Real Estate Brokerage, Smith Bruce Flooring, RKS and 24 other business card sponsors. Tickets for the event cost $15.00, with the door opening at 7:15pm (General Seating) and the show starts at 8:00pm. Tickets for the play can be purchased at Holst in both Walkerton & Hanover, Brown's Pharmacy, Dejardine Credit Union, both in Walkerton and Mac’s Milk in Mildmay.
