Once again, the Cancer Society fundraising annual 'Relay for Life' planning is underway.
Rona Cobean (L) & Nancy McLeod Event Co-ordinators,Rona Cobean and Nancy McLeod gave an update for the 2011 Relay at Saugeen Shores Town Council meeting on Monday (March 28). The Saugeen Shores Relay for Life has raised $338,000 over two years and, this year, the Relay is hoping to raise $162,000 to bring the total up to a half million dollars. The event is held each July at the Saugeen Shores Secondary School track and attracts many participants who stay overnight.
