Final total comes in for Bruce Power fundraiser |

In a gate collection at Bruce Power Nuclear plant in Bruce County, Ontario on Tuesday, March 22nd, employees raised more than $80,000 to help the workers at Fukushima Nuclear in Japan. Approximately $41,000 was collected during the two-hour campaign that was matched dollar-for-dollar by Bruce Power. Employees has until Friday, March 25th to contribute and at the end of the day on Friday the grand total rose to more than $102,000. All monies raised will go to the workers of the Japanese plant and their families following the catastrophic earthquake and resulting tsunami.
