Provincial sunshine list released

The provincial sunshine list of people who made $100,000 or more in 2010 has been released and about 230 people in Grey and Bruce counties have made the list.

The top earner for 2010 was Tom Mitchell, president and chief executive officer of Ontario Power Generation (OPG), who racked in $1.325 million.

Grey-Bruce Medical Officer of Health Dr. Hazel Lynn for the second year was the top paid public servant. She earned $290,140.62.

The third highest was Ontario Court justices Julia Morneau, George Brophy and Robert MacKenzie, each earning $250,149.81.

South Bruce Grey Health Centre president and chief executive officer Paul Davies made $212,998.70.

The fifth highest was Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board education director Bruce MacPherson who earned $166,781.07.

Huron-Bruce MPP and minister of agricultural, food and rural affairs, Carol Mitchell, earned $164,359.68.

The Bluewater District School Board superintendent of secondary education, Alana Murray-Lawrence, made $155,631.45.

South Bruce Grey Health Centre vice-president of clinical services, Dianne Waram, earned $124,390.68

Kincardine District Secondary School principal Deborah Kaufman made $118,925.

Kincardine chief administrative officer John deRosenroll earned $116,494.59.

Earning $111,146.21 each were Ripley-Huron Community School principal Graham Martin, Lucknow Central Public School principal Mary Martha Uttley-Shaw, Huron Heights Public School principal Paul Hambleton and Kincardine Township-Tiverton Public School principal Deborah Rayner.

 

South Bruce Grey Health Centre vice-president of corporate services, Walter Yewchyn, earned $110,070.92.

Former South Bruce Grey Health Centre labour relations vice-president, Brenda Rantz, made $107,464.72.

Elgin Market Public School principal Anne Roppel made $106,709

And finishing off the list, is Kincardine District Secondary School vice-principal, Sheryl Elliott, who earned $100,969.67.
