The 'conga line' was very popular as everyone danced the Latin rhythms

The temperatures may not feel as though spring has arrived but, at Kingsway Arms at Elgin Lodge in Port Elgin, the heat was turned up Friday, April 8th at the 'Spring Fling'.

"Howlin' Dogs" had everyone up on the floor

It was a packed house as Kingsway Arms opened its doors to the community to celebrate the arrival of Spring and the 'Howlin Dogs' band got everyone tapping their toes and up on the dance floor.

The Moultons of Southampton were kicking up their heels!

Everyone enjoyed the music of 'yesteryear' and the 'conga line got almost everyone up out of their seats dancing to the Latin rhythms.

"We are going to be holding more events like this that will be open to the public," said Director, Deb Wallace.  "Many of our residents have friends and family out in the community and this gives them a time to socialize and have fun."
