New parking islands and gates are being installed at the Kincardine hospital site. An employee of WPS Parking Equipment Manufacturers of Toronto was working on the project Thursday morning. The new gates will be located at the top of the hill, further west of the old location that entered into the parking lot; and at the entry to the ambulance and doctors entrance, southwest of the main entrance. South Bruce Grey Health Centre communications co-ordinator Frank Sauve said there are signs in side the hospital and the Kincardine Community Medical Clinic, east of the hospital, with diagrams of the new parking gate locations. To view that diagram, click here. Sauve said new gates are being installed at all four sites, including Kincardine, Walkerton, Chesley and Durham. He said everyone coming to the site will have to go through these gates. The first half-hour will be free, so you can drop off someone at the hospital or the clinic, or pick up a prescription at McKechnie Pharmacy, and then leave. After that, the $3 charge is applied. McKechnie Pharmacy is located in the lower level of the clinic.
