In honour of Volunteer Week, Malcolm Place in Kincardine, presented all its volunteers with gift certificates to Bean's Bistro in downtown Kincardine. Activities co-ordinator Donna Fohkens said the seniors residence has about 30 volunteers who help with a variety of events for the residents, such as manicures, going for walks, visiting, weekly devotional, entertainment, and calling the weekly bingo games. Bean's Bistro topped up each volunteer's gift certificate with a free coffee, as a token of appreciation.
