It was time for the volunteers to relax and enjoy some dessert and coffee, as well as some entertainment, Monday afternoon during the volunteer appreciation at the Kincardine Day Away Program. Team leader Jane Hofstetter said there are 68 volunteers who help with the program, run by Grey-Bruce Home and Community Support Services, in the Kincardine area. Besides helping with the Day Away Program, they volunteer with the daily frozen meal delivery, transportation service, and the friendly visiting.

Providing the entertainment for the volunteer appreciation event was guitarist Paul Danard of Owen Sound. Hofstetter thanked the volunteers for all their hard work and dedication throughout the year.
