Traffic is down to one lane on Highway 21 between Kincardine Avenue and Russell Street in Kincardine

Highway 21 traffic flow continues to be hampered as Lavis Contracting completes bridge maintenance along the major roadway between Amberley and Kincardine.

Workers are putting fabric bird netting under five bridges along this stretch of highway, to keep the birds from nesting there. Nesting birds cause problems for bridge upgrade and maintenance.

Tuesday afternoon, work was being done on the bridge between Kincardine Avenue and Russell Street.
