When the Southampton Medical Clinic opened nine years ago, the Optimist Club undertook the task of maintaining the children's indoor  'playground' area.

Every couple of years, the group removes the worn and well-played with toys and books and replaces them with new ones.

This week, the group took in several items such as a miniature table and chairs, a tea set, many books, a toy farm and many others.

A young three-year-old visitor, Adriana Benvenuti, immediately took to the tea set as she 'poured' tea for her new friends and played with some of the toys.
