Editor - There are numerous letters on this website supporting the car show and condemning the "new people" as wanting to move it. My wife and I have lived by the flag pole in Southampton for the past six years. We are the only new people in the area, so we presume all these comments are being directed at us. These people who are making these comments are misinformed. It was not us who went before council to move the car show. I guess it is just easier to blame the new people. We support the car show by buying tickets every week ( probably more than anyone who has written these letters) and have shown my own collector car whenever I can. So please get your facts right before you write letters condemning us.
