This exclusive five day self discovery journey will begin on day one with a Sweetgrass smudge and guidance in "how to tap ino your Spiritual Conscience". There will be time for meditation and contemplation before reflection time with the group. The nights will be spent in the tipi on site. Day two will start with a Sunrise ceremony at 5:30 am. During this day all participants will make a hand drum, fitted moccassins and a walking stick, making time for meditation and reflection at the end of the day. Day three will have the group catching the Chi-Cheemaun ferry to Manitoulin Island. The Group will go to "Dreamer's Rock" and an ancient native site spending time visioning at the "rock". Participants will make their own sacred bundles while learning teachings. Day four will start with a Sunrise ceremony before visiting Ojibway Cultural Centre, Ojibway Church, Medicine Lodge and a couple of craft shops. The evening will involve participation in the Full Moon Celebration. Day five will have the group taking the ferry back, making chokers on the trip and once back in Saugeen, we will have a Sweetgrass smudge and Drum Birthing before the Friendship circle and Feast that will end the retreat and then everyone will make their way home.
