We are deeply saddened by the passing of Judy Thompson. Our thoughts and prayers are with Rob and Jennifer and Todd and Tammy and all of the family.  We will all miss her wit, commitment  and enthusiasm for her community.

Sympathy of the community is extended to the family of Robert Pollock whose funeral was on Thursday. 

The KDSS Kinetic Knights fund-raiser was held on Thursday evening in preparation for their trip to St. Louis this weekend coming up. 

The Pine River United Church Cantata, "We Remember Calvary," on Good Friday was excellent and appreciated by a good audience.

Happy 60th Anniversary to Gerald and Merle Rhody!  The family gathered for a celebration at the Grove on Saturday and Elvis and Johnny Cash (look-a-likes) were part of the entertainment.

Arik and Meagan MacDonald were visiting this weekend and Arik, Alex, Doug and Shirley were at the home of Wilfred and Dianne Gamble for supper on Saturday evening.

The farm sale for Jack Barr at Kinlough was well-attended on Saturday.

The Collins family was home over Easter Weekend - Angela and Doug Ward and Jennifer and Steve Riley and children - and they celebrated Colton Collins' baptism at Purple Grove on Sunday afternoon.

 

Carmen, Cheryl and Kyle Bridge spent Easter at home with family and friends on Sunday.

Sympathy is also extended to the Bridge family on the death of Leroy Coutlhard of London.

Mary Anne Kukoly visited with Joyce McEwan, and Barb, Jamie McEwan and family who were visiting from Etobicoke.

Heather and Sam Finnie spent Easter with Judy and Sam Finnie in Hamilton area.
