The Pine River United Church Cherubs Choir is rehearsing a musical play about Noah, called "The Two-By-Two Zoo Cruise." The show will be performed Sunday, May 1 at 11 a.m., at the church. The Cherubs include 19 youngsters, ages four to 10, under the direction of talented musical instructor Patt Lowry. The choir also sang Tuesday night (April 19) at the Walkerton Rotary Music Festival and took first place, with a score of 86 per cent. Lowry said that lots of parents and grandparents were feeling very proud, and the adjudicator was excellent,. She had the Cherubs sing their "Irish Blessing" twice, since she liked it so much. The children were "walking on air."
