Penetangore Watershed Group plans tree-plantings

The Penetangore Watershed Group is inviting the community to help plant trees, from April 28 to May 7, in several locations along the Penetangore River.


One tree-planting is slated for Friday, April 29, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Franklin farm on the Northline.

A second tree-planting is scheduled for Saturday, May 7, 10 a.m., on the Hogg farm on Highway 9 - contact Erin Gouthro at 519-396-6641, for more information.

Private individuals who would like to work on private plantings, can call the following landowners for times:

Landowners with orders for trees should pick them up at the Blake's farm April 30. For more information, contact Mike at 519-396-5170.
