Many pipe bands come to Kincardine to compete at the Scottish Festival

The 12th annual Kincardine Scottish Festival and Highland Games, July 1-3, will be more affordable for families.

Co-ordinator Diahanne Thomson says the Saturday admission will be split, so a day-pass will cost $15, while an evening concert-pass will cost $10. This allows families to enjoy the competitions and games during the day at a better rate, while those who want to come and enjoy the evening concert can purchase tickets just for that.

Thomson says the Glengarry Bhoys, the Thogs and Poor Angus are returning to entertain the crowd this year.

The public can also print off ticket order forms, from the website, and mail them in, to reserve their tickets.
