Saugeen District Secondary School's (SDSS) grade 12 Biology Class in Port Elgin took advantage of the sunny weather on Thursday (May 5) to carry on with their tree-planting program. With teacher, Norm Stoner, the class has been planting some 350 trees on the school grounds.
Teacher, Norm Stoner, (R) teaches students how to plant trees "The students have planted a wide variety of trees," says Stoner, "including red oak, maples, cedars and dogwood among others." |
